Larry Wellington, Owner and Manager of El Guacamayo camp ground retired from the business world in June of 2006, and after several trips to various places in the world looking for a place to start a bed & breakfast, met David Simpson of David’s Adventure tours in San Ignacio.

David had started the campground 16 years ago and was in need of someone to invest in his business and help make improvements and up-grades to the campground.

The opportunity was just what I was looking for, the chance to meet and great people and entertain them in a unique dynamic environment. We formed a partnership and a new venture took off.

Working in conjunction with his tour business we look forward to many years of exciting adventures together.
